Most fish oil is completely ineffective:
I’ve personally noticed some powerful effects from fish oil: 1) it can act as a neotropic booster, particularly in conjunction with SRI’s and similar meds / substances, 2) it can cause me significant insomnia (no arrhythmia) if I take ~6-8 capsules.
Is that germane to this thread? Probably not, but something seems to be going on. Maybe fish oil has been studied so far on too limited a basis.
Seems like millions of redditors say just that through the many slaps in the face to users, then hang around anyway. :S

I think when they said that, the implication was that there was no need for such. I.e. it interrupted the flow of the story and didn’t add anything useful, other than perhaps pandering to a certain crowd.
I’ve been primarily vegan for decades, and I’ve found that #4 is mostly true, but some amount of gas emission is normal for everyone.
#1 is similar to a known method of prepping crispy fries (using ice water baths), because it removes starch in potatoes. Not sure how well that would work for other veggies, tho. I’d certainly think they’d need to be sliced up for that to work best.
#3 is definitely a known method of changing the chemistry of a thing, so yes, AFAIK both chemistry and nutritional science suggest that nutrients can and will be lost that way.
You also might experiment with digestive enzymes (like “Bean-O” and others) to see if that helps out eating high-fibre meals. You might also start with a prelude of daily psyllium husk fibres to get your gut used to more fibre. As I understand it, it also has the side benefit of lowering ‘bad’ cholesterol, as fibre has a ‘scrubbing action’ onthe gut.
I find it ever-so-slightly pompous with all the horns, but otherwise, a cool remix of the original theme.
Roddenberry from what I’ve read in multiple places sounded like a huge asshole to me, and nowhere near the ‘Great Bird of the Galaxy’ he liked to self-label himself as. Now yes, a very talented asshole, whose vision started the franchise, and certainly who put in much work on TOS (along with many other talents), but nevertheless a real PITA on a personal level who wound up burning most of his bridges.
Point is-- if Meyer lost his cool with him as a young guy, I wouldn’t be very surprised.

Late reply, but in English media articles, it’s still fairly common for me to see references to what people said on Reddit. AFAIK there are also still entertainment sites (“Caveman Circus” being one) that still regularly harvest expert or semi-expert takes found on Reddit in order to construct ‘best of’ articles.
Though-- perhaps that activity is down somewhat, as you suggest.

Still-- I get it. If the artist is trying to suggest the outsized influence of Spock, I understand. I mean, Shatner was utterly magnificent in his role, but Nimoy was also right there with him, a brilliant, iconic presence that helped turn TOS in to what might have otherwise been “Lost in Space.”
The only influence German has now is the odd loanword, like Weltschmerz and Schadenfreude.

Unfortunately, the ones around here aren’t all that great. Going by a ramen packet right now, it looks like this “Maruchan” version probably has more spices and dehydrated veggies than the straight chicken powder. Also, methinks the OXO cubes would be pretty hard to sprinkle over popcorn(!)
That said, there’s all kinds of great popcorn toppings (store bought and homemade), so I don’t suspect it’s a big problem.
