Actually yes, it’s very common in China to have people maybe mention or discuss the June 4th Incident, in China it’s simply called 六四事件

That scene in End of Evangelion where they’re all in each other’s minds
GNOME
Edit: Sorry, I may have misunderstood the question as I’m not entirely sure what a launcher is in the context of Linux, but I’ve been using GNOME as my desktop environment for years and it does everything asked for here.
Always bear in mind that the people are not fighting for ideas, for the things in anyone’s head. They are fighting to win material benefits, to live better and in peace, to see their lives go forward, to guarantee the future of their children.
Holy shit shut the fuck up lmao
I’ve never used it but that should be fine
Alternatively, don’t use Pop_OS. I installed it on an ex’s laptop because it was easy but it’d have all the same problems as Ubuntu without the helpful diagnostic tools and extensive documentation. Hers messed up far more than my Arch install
Evil ass colonizer nations
Chile is a full democracy, but do NOT ask what happened in 1973
Australia is a full democracy, but do NOT ask what happened in 1975
My landleach pays for energy, so, 72F at all times and a small data center running in the corner

Might be part of the deal he made forever ago so he wouldn’t be a target, like a faked death, or he’s just a big dumb dumb. Who knows, who cares, the federation’s still gonna be doing it’s stuff. Respectfully, this stuff happens all the time there I think, thank the west for destroying the Soviet Union.
Yeah I mean, I came from a very poor region and it was hard to move for me, but it was made easier because my family was beginning to cut me off for being queer anyway and I had the privilege of WFH too. I know lots of people who’d move out of their region if not for their family supporting them in some way they can’t get elsewhere (or they don’t think so, atleast).
🤢
I just can’t imagine leaving my community so easily for a job I guess, but I imagine plenty of folks must do it all the time.
And if they’re managed well on top of being worker controlled, but that’s usually been a mixed bag historically
Respectfully this ain’t even a meme
He’s so good
B*lg*um 🤮
Wow that’s crazy! I didn’t know they did away with the two systems policy, I must be crazy, because I went there and it was clearly different in numerous ways from the rest of China. Weird!
I also wonder how many people were killed by police during those demonstrations, I know many Americans were killed and gravely injured by their police forces now and during BLM.
Additionally, if HK was such a good democracy beforehand, why did the “pro democracy” camp only have 29 seats out of possible 70 if they represented the majority of people in Hong Kong? Maybe in the US if we had a party that did away with right wingers and made housing more affordable that would be a good thing, it seems to have been working pretty well for HKers since.
