I hope we get something akin to Neverwinter Nights modules systems, so that we can replay this game for the next twenty years, using new modules we got from the workshop or some other modding avenue.

Thanks for the in depth post! We definitely need more competition in the Sims-like area of indie games!
Thank you for these types of reviews. I’ve never really thought to play the game, but maybe when I finally play and beat the Banjo games, I’ll take a spin with this game. 🙏
What happened to Yuzu was that they were making $20,000-$30,000 in monthly revenue, for an emulator that would “technically” be competing with the current hardware.
Thats where they fucked up, in my opinion.
You are correct! The issue I was running into was the interface for the kingdom management screen was getting glitched because I’m sure I turned on a setting somewhere that broke it. With the same settings though, it is running perfectly on the Windows partition. 😁
Man, this brought me back to ye olden days where forums were where it was at. Thanks for this. 🥲
You’re telling me!
I’ve had the same Wii since I was a child though, so… it does hurt my knees to know that it is a retro console these days. 🥲
Oh my god, yes I’ve seen those! I saw it on Dark Souls 2 community and thought it was funny because the in game messages other players leave are usually not helpful at all, so I didn’t really pay it much attention. Then I saw it in Death Stranding, Skyrim, Lunacid, and a few others.
Oh. One of the memes I guess. 😏
I really do hate those goofy ass reviews.
300 hours It’s okay I guess
Wow. So helpful in helping me decide if I want to spend my hard earned money on this game.
I’d have to go with the PS3, 3DS, and Wii. I know that’s three, but they each have qualities that I just absolutely adore that I can’t choose!
I like to collect “hacked” retro consoles. It’s so cool to see them in action and what people were able to do with them.
It’s funny you say this as I was telling my SO after seeing the Opera GX browser on some YouTubers screen in the background that that automatically made me wary of their content because Opera isn’t all that great, let alone a “gamer” specific version of said browser. Then this news of them being shady came out like a week later and I just had to point that out to my SO as a crazy coincidence that we were just talking about it!
I’ve been using FF for over 15 years at this point and I have never, not even once, ran into any issues with any site that I went to. Now, is the website you are talking about shareable by you? I don’t want it if it’s a bank or something that could some how be linked to you. I just really really want to see a website that doesn’t work on FF. I’m not trying to come off as a dick or anything, I am genuinely interested to see what it looks like and how it behaves.
Thank you for this! Truly fascinating!
Did you ever play Force Unleashed or the KOTOR games? I like the idea behind the new Jedi games, but they really do not give me that Star Wars vibe like FU or KOTOR did. Force unleashed made me feel like a force user who we normally only hear about lore wise (Revan for sure, maybe lore accurate Anakin/Vader) but the KOTOR games were SOAKED in Star Wars vibes.
I’m only asking because the new Jedi games just felt mediocre (to me!) and uninspired.
You’ve got a friend in me, as the only times I have to allocate towards books is the hour commute to and from work every day, I will listen to my audiobooks that I have found or that have been recommended by wonderful people like you!
I will give the Wheel of Time and even the Licanius Trilogy a go, as I do like the epicness of LotR!
It is crazy how narrators can make or break some books though, isn’t it?!
Also, I just finished Fahrenheit 451, and the narrator had the “golden-age” of radio kinda voice and made it so much better than if I was just reading it myself!
Thank you again for taking the time out of your day to gush about something you love! 😁
I recently learned of the wheel of time series!
Can you give me some of your opinions on it? I made it to book 3 of Lord of the Rings, and just couldn’t put up with the purple writing any longer. Segments just seemed to drag on and on and on just to get through some dialogue that could’ve been said with a lot less flowery prose. It was charming at first, but I couldn’t put up with it any longer by book three, at least going back to back. I will finish it one day though! 😭
Haha! I actually listened to the audiobooks on the lead up to the release to get myself in that warm and cozy mindset for the game. Those books are like comfort food for my soul.
I also agree with the above statements. The best way I could describe it is that while the gameplay wasn’t all that spectacular, experiencing the game world was definitely a treat, and made me smile like I did the first time I opened the first Harry Potter book or played the first games that game out on PS1!
Hey! I don’t know when the last time you used Vortex, but is is SO much better now. They’ve even added mod collections that allow you to one click install a few to all the way to over 1000 mods (Looking at you Skyrim mod collections, Constellations and Gate to Sovngarde!) and have it ready to play as soon as it is done.
I have played Oblivion, Skyrim, and Stardew Valley with collections and not once had a collection not work! It’s crazy how good it is now!
I know some people don’t like Nexus for whatever reasons, but I give them so much credit for making modding easy enough that my friends could finally mod their games without going, “You sit here and go through pages and pages of mods? And that’s fun?” Or “That seems like too much stuff. I’d rather not mess with that…”.
I would love to hear your opinion if you do try it again! :)
