Seems like such a company would quickly drop their journalism branch if it’s the merch that’s providing traffic and revenue.

You can refuse to vote but you’re still going to end up with one of those two as your president. Are you OK with not having a say about which one it ends up being just to make a point to nobody in particular?
Have we gotten past the point if irreparable damage? Yes. Does that mean it’s pointless to reduce further damage as much as possible? Not even a little.
I could buy a new pixel 4a for under €200. On ifixit a new screen is €100, battery €40, usb-c port €30. After shipping costs and paying someone to do the work it would be more expensive and the front camera lens would still be broken. Fixing it really isn’t worth it, and if I’m buying new I might as well go for an upgraded model that’s gonna get updates for longer.
I considered it, but the battery life has become terrible too. I’m pretty sure the front camera lens is shattered too, nooit just the screen. I could live with just fixing the port if I wasn’t going on a big international vacation later this year. I really need a good battery for that, and at that point I’d rather just buy something new.
I’m still rocking my 4a but I’m looking to upgrade soonish. Screen is cracked, especially around the front cam making it useless. The USB-C port is in a terrible state and will barely connect with my charters anymore.
Might get this one. I looked into the new Fairphone but I just couldn’t justify the price for a device that’s barely better than what I already have
I should also take a look at previous pixel models. I don’t need better performance. The only things I would like to improve on is getting 5g, wireless charging so loose ports aren’t a problem anymore, and a better camera.
To be fair baldurs gate wasn’t developed in the US
That’s very vague and sounds like it would mainly affect minorities in a negative way. Not that I think that’s your intention of course.
Definitely illegal in Belgium, is that not the norm elsewhere?
I don’t know, I just don’t think she’s comfortable with fighting this battle in public. Considering how wild some conspiracy theories were getting, this info was probably just released to shut people up.
How about I share something from my own country. What I reckon is that only some of my data goes to the US government through Google, Microsoft etc. while the Chinese government controls corporations like tencent much more than the US government controls US corporations. Besides all that, services from Microsoft and Google are much harder to avoid than for example tiktok and Huawei. So the US is getting my data no matter what, I might as well limit how much of it goes to china.
I’m European and I definitely feel that way. I don’t like American spyware, but I trust the Chinese government much less than I do American corporations.
Can’t wait for this to reignite the snitties argument in the DND community
May want to adjust the settings on your projector a little
How 'bout that jingle from that jewellery commercial?
Well Harry potter has already been mentioned as a contemporary example. Can’t think of any utopian examples tbh, reckon they are hard to write good stories for. But since these sort of worlds works be obvious picks I figured I’d post the next next thing.
Excluding wods with magic in a contemporary or utopian setting, maybe some DnD world? You don’t need to have magic abilities to use magic items and plenty of settings are reasonably advanced.
Why would they? This project doesn’t have anything to do with them
Ok so we can’t use ground new because of bias. Where do you suggest we go to get our news then. I agree that there will always be some bias but surely a system that gives you news from so many sources will be less biased than sticking to just one or two sources
