AIPAC knows how to play the American lobby. Funny part is, the Netanyahu is getting the guy he really wanted now. Lets see how well this “ceasefire” turns out for the people of Gaza long run.
Netanyahu knows Trump is going to be better for HIS Israeli right wing party. The cease-fire was going to happen either way, because his Israeli party is paying too much of an international and domestic cost at this point. Netanyahu waited to be sure to give Trump the win if possible because he knows Trump will capitulate to his party. It was going to go this way after the election either way. It was self-serving. Wait and see what happens after the “cease fire.” This was politics between like minded parties, not compassion for the people of Gaza.
That’s fair. I didn’t know enough about the regime to make that leap.
I’m sure all the money AIPAC gave to Trump has no impact. We know Trump to be such a non-transactional person. You drank a big ass glass of the MAGA koolaid dude. Netanyahu and Trump are very friendly, I’m sure he wants to make it look like Trump brought a cease fire for optics. You wait and see what really happens. I’m sure the author of the Muslim ban who constantly decries negatively towards Islam is going to stand up for the poor Islamic state over the rich lucrative Israeli state. 🤦🏻
Not that I agree with these military juntas as they are no doubt brutal, but not sad for the corporations at all. They have been exploiting those country’s resources with giving little in return for a long time.
