There’s an obscure piece of lost media where the last episode of the six part home video series has no sound at all, because back then youtube just yeeted the whole audio channel and that was that.
RIP. Don’t want to bother the creators, but even if I did, they likely don’t have a complete copy themselves. They never bothered to reupload it anyway. And have since scrubbed their channel clean.
This update could be a surprising good step in media preservation.

Yep. Would be pretty bad software otherwise. Best to set it up so it keeps one monthly, one weekly, and 2-3 daily snapshots. Then you don’t even need to think about it, and it deletes older ones automatically. You can still do manual snapshots, and it won’t delete those.

I seriously wish I had a phone that was just a linux machine. That can already do all the things I want it to do. Then I’d have a brick phone with eternal battery life for that single functionality.
But as it is that would not have mobile internet, which is pretty much a must. So you’d have to get a sim card for that, and then you might as well have the phone functionality on that device. And you just (re)invented Linux phones.
My point is that I hate what phones are and I wish it was just a small touchscreen PC without all this locked down bullshit.
Not a great sign when you have to assure people that the game is still being developed.

If the pants are stretchy they could fit one of the lowest (already pantsd) branches in each leg of the jeans, and easily pull it up. You need bigger and stretchier pants as you go up the tree, though.
The GPL states that its text must not be modified. I take this to mean (though I’m no lawboy), that if you wanted to have a license with the same terms plus some changes (the butthole rule), you would have to rewrite the whole thing. It would not nearly be a “GPL license”.

This article suggests that boiling hard tapwater can reduce the intake of microplastics via the formed “scale” trapping the plastic particles.
