The director, the actors, the camera crew. Take your pick
I fail to see how the director using a tool to help write a script means that everyone else involved in an artistic production suddenly loses all creative input.

I’m glad that the art decider has come to tell me what is and isnt alowed to be art. Is there any other degenerate non-art you think should be removed? We could have a bonfire.
Great retort, consider me converted. Who are we censoring next for doing wrongthink?
The author is Danish, are you so certain that this isnt just slightly awkward usage of a second laguage that you are willing to throw transphobic at them as an insult?
I hope the anti-AI reactionaries feel good about their success of censoring an small artist.
Local models WOULD form the basis of FOSS AI. Supposition on my part but entirely supportable given there is already a open source model movement focus on producing local models and open source software is generally privacy focused.
Local models ARE inherently private due to the way that no information leaves the device it is processed on.
I know you dont want to engage with arguments and instead just wail at the latest daemon for internet points, but you can have more than one statement in a sentence without being incoherent.
So its settled that neurons are the only way to create inteligence? Again you need to get your work published, it’s clearly groundbreaking that you’ve solved these long standing disputes.
It doesnt though, local models would be at the core of FOSS AI, and they dont require you to trust anyone with your data.
It takes only an incredibly basic knowledge of computers and brains to know that we cannot make an actual intelligent program using the Von Neumann style of computer.
Nice to hear that it only takes a very basic knowledge of computers to settle one of the most hotly disputed issues in philosophy and computing. You should let them know you’ve decided it.
If storage space is important using uncompressed json is a bad choice, if you’re compressing the json it doesnt really matter if you have lots of exceptionCase: False
fields as they will compress very well.
Are we looking at the same graphs? Even going by the weekly one you are vairing by 2x between weeks, that is not stable generation by any serious measure. The grid needs have supply following demand with a tolerance of a percent or two not 50% difference, half a week of EU total energy demand is an insane amount of storage needed that would cost trillions of euros.
E: and if you look at 2022 its worse with a two week period in nov/dec getting down to just over 1/3rd of peak, you would need to have enough storage to cover this eventuality.
The point you seem to be missing is that it isnt that linux is too hard for average people, it isnt id even say its easier than windows to use for people who arent deep into using windows already.
Its that installing any os is too much for regular people and Microsoft have been fighting dirty and abusing market dominance to make sure they kill pre-installed linux machines.
10MWh of energy is 36 seconds worth of output from a smallish 1GW power plant. Battery storage is a huge way off viable for anything other than smoothing out daily cycles of wind and solar.
They had Gordon Brown do a huge review of the constitutional make up of the UK with a view to reform, particularly around the lords and devolution. I’ll be very disapointed if none of his recomendations make it into the manifesto.
I mean gnome and kde both have it so that doesnt feel correct for why macos doesnt.
Huh, i have the complete opposite reaction. Having to move to macos for work finder is probably my least favourite bit. It feels like it is deliberately trying to hide the file system and my files from me and just give me the files it thinks i want, id have nautilus or thunar installed in a heartbeat.
Fwiw i have almost exactly the same feeling going from gnome to macos, sure its polished but it goes out of its way to make anything even slightly complicated incredibly difficult. So yeah im pretty sure its mostly familiarity.
Look, its almost $3 from each US citizen, I dont see how more could be done.
Its not quite the same data, that’s CO2 per person from energy and industry (excluding land use changes), the article was looking at CO2 equivalent of all GHGs. Still shows what I suspected, that France was lower overall but not going down as quickly as they are unable to get quick wins from decarbonising electricity.
Edit: actually scrap that I realised there was more data further down the page and it looks like when looking at total GHG emissions France is going down at about the same rate as Germany despite starting from a lower baseline. Viva la France! (though not as fast as the UK who have gone from per capital emissions equal to Germany in 1990 to being equal to France today)
Book burnings dont remove all copies of a book from existence either. And no I dont get to decide what is and isnt art, and I dont presume to, generally if someone says something they have made is art and they’re not asking me to buy it I’m happy for them to consider it art. Also I dont go around cheering when creative works I dont like get censored.
