4 had a lot of issues, bad story, trailing missions and a lot of pacing problems. But it’s the best pirate game ever made. And the ship combat was great

Optimisation is hard, especially when it’s an afterthought. SMO was built from the ground up for the switch. Just like zelda. The switch is not a powerful console.
Sly Cooper on the ps5 is emulated, not a native port. I’ve played some of the emulated Sony games on ps4 and they do not run very well, because the ps4 has to run an emulator and the game, instead of just running natively.
Native ports, when done well, are just better man. It can make better use of resources and runs in a well supported ecosystem. Emulators are great but not ideal for experiencing games. It also puts a wall up for people to access games. The more people that can play the game the better.
The game is only currently playable on ps3/x360. Makes sense to at least port it to newer platforms. Emulation is rarely an ideal or stable solution.
They make psytrance, it’s super popular in Israel, and in the general rave scene. Used to be waaay bigger in the 2Ks.
Half life alyx had me flicking my wrist to try and gravity glove small items I needed. I remember having a late night sesh of HL Alyx and in a sleep deprived state trying it multiple times and not understanding why it wasn’t working.
No need to use the app at all. The games on there are drm free. Run the game any way you want. That said, I like gog galaxy cos it keeps all the games I own on every platform together, and I use the search function to find the game I want and hit play. Or just hit view all and browse.
Would be good to see gog get more popular. Fuck drm
It’s using an ancient discontinued engine. Hopefully we see improvements with time
This is incredible. Would love to see this in Australia too.
The point was that divinity original sin 2 is a very successful and popular game. I wasn’t saying that divinity has more players, just that it’s not a hardcore rpg fan only game.
Society has deemed that a human life is more valuable than another animal, but that doesn’t mean that this applies to everyone. I’d save my dogs over a stranger sure, but I’d sure make an effort to save both. The value of a life on a personal basis is primarily driven by how connected you are with them.
I’ve met more many people who have played divinity original sin 2 than the latest call of duty. If someone makes a good game, people play it.
You don’t have a problem with the game having purchasable fast travel and locking a character editor behind the pay wall?
I worked as a check in agent in Australia for 2 years and we had zero issues with people carrying two passports with them. I’ve dealt with flights regarding Melbourne, Singapore, Sydney, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, LAX, Ottawa and others, none of which I can recall anyone being pulled aside for carrying a second passport.
That said I’m not a border security officer, and it’s best to check with your origin/destination’s border security website, because I don’t know if that is an issue in some port I’m not familiar with.
For entering and exiting the US you should have a US passport and travel using it. Bring your German passport with you for proof of citizenship once you enter Germany. It’s basically your visa, and dictates if you can enter the country and the permitted duration of stay. Passports are complicated, always do your research before travelling, or just call your carrier.
Am a professional game developer I can guarantee you that the quality of the code base of the average AAA game is no better than a small studio. It’s at times a lot worse, it’s just got better documentation or a bigger knowledge base. I hear the current call of duty engine is a nightmare to work on.
When you’re reliant on every penny you make, having part of your paycheck going towards a union can seem like a bad decision at face value.
