Good luck mods!
You may no longer interact with lemmy.world
Yes, do so. And share it with lemmy.world.
Let’s keep in mind this doesn’t really mean anything for Lemmy instances. It is open source.
Can we not have such a narrow perception of our language? The word retard was never strictly used for people with mental disabilities. It has long been used as an alternative to foolish/dumb/stupid, and you’re not restricting it anytime soon.
In this case, by joining lemmy.world ;)
You’re saying you can tell us that your team understood the situation fully? I know db0 was understanding. I also know yourself was trashing us for completely uninformed reasons when it happened. Time to leave that in the past, I guess. I appreciate choosing the peaceful way.
Lol welcome aboard and good luck! adding you to the team chat. You can post moo’s here
Thank you for all your work, db0. You deserve a statue around here somewhere, lol.
I’ll try to make a chat for us, or invite them to our defense chat. Here’s hoping they accept and we can achieve mutual understanding.
I understand your concerns, gabe. It took them 4 hours to take down the CSAM tonight, and it’s not the first time malicious content arising from the instance either. I guess they really should have more than 1 admin.
And it shows up like this on Sync, lol
Awesome! Thank you 😁
The only issue I saw is, resized images are only partially shown (but maintain the forced resize in user view) after choosing a post.
As far as mod tools, I think the reports queue and mod logs should be a priority. It would also be nice if there were options to appoint/remove community moderators.
Besides all of these, I hope you get enough love and support and not burn out! Take good care of yourself, and stay safe. <3
Yeah… The content history is telling enough in this case.
You’re bound to get downvotes unless you post it on /2american4u or something, lol. I don’t think many Lemmy users know about this meme
I’m not a potato. You’re a potato.
Pretty sure Lemmy does have a dark mode.
