Same. I’ll very occasionally do an Old Fashioned, Manhattan, or Mojito, but usually just an ale or lager
I was protesting in Minneapolis at the time. Protests occurred and were peaceful during the day, whereas opportunist rioters stayed out at night in spite of curfew and rioted. There was also the infamous “umbrella man” white supremacist who burned down an AutoZone during the day. Of the 17 people convicted of arson during the unrest, only 3 were from Minneapolis/St. Paul; the rest commuted in to raise hell.
I do not want to downplay the property destruction of the rioters; I cleaned up several torched buildings in the aftermath and it was sad and scary. But the people who rioted were not protesters in my experience.
Has it been confirmed that wirebugs will return in Wilds?
Holy shit what an especially hateful and bigoted societal parasite!!
My boomer parents have dedicated inside shoes for this purpose. When you get old and have hardwood floors you need the extra arch support and traction. Podiatrists recommend wearing shoes inside.
God I wish I was part of your team

Press X to doubt.
Holy cow they live up to eight years!
Yeah the middle-class African American Rondo neighborhood was totally demolished to make way for the interstate here, after an affluent white neighborhood successfully lobbied to have the planned highway relocated from their turf. It would’ve been way better where it was originally planned too, as it was going to hug existing railroad lines. Unfortunately the MN governor at the time was from that neighborhood, so the whites got their way. Now there’s just a stone overpass etched with Rondo to remember the lost community
His name should be in the headline. He’s (unfortunately) a household name.
One of the most common criticisms levied against Oppenheimer is its blistering pace that crams in as much detail as possible, so I find it hard to believe that it could’ve been condensed into 90 minutes.
💦🍆
I bought Vampire Survivors two weeks ago and I have almost 40 hours, all on Steam Deck. It’s the most fun I’ve had gaming in a long time. Simple gameplay loop with constant action and so many possible permutations of characters, stages, and power ups! I have ~ 2/3 of the unlocks and achievements so far.
Are you confusing her for Carly Chaikin?
They probably posted bitcheeeeees but their Lemmy instance auto-removes the b word
I really wanted to get a steam deck when they first came out, but I decided not to bc I wasn’t gaming much at the time. Then I got a SD OLED right when they came out, and I’ve been playing it pretty much every day since then. I love playing retro games and emulating on it since its OLED screen is amazing, and I also do Steam Remote Play to it from my gaming PC and Chiaki to remote play from my PS5. Like another poster said, the Steam Deck has also been a game changer for getting me playing older games from my backlog. It’s perfect for playing games on the couch while watching TV or a movie as well.
Imo: just getting new ideas for ways to reduce/consolidate the number of things I have to carry every day. I switched from a regular wallet to an ultralight wallet (Ridge, but there are much cheaper alternatives) and it has been helping out my back a lot. It’s also nice to get recommendations for multi-tools and stuff.
I only everyday carry my phone, car keys, apt keys, and wallet, and I often leave my apt keys locked in my car so I have one fewer thing to carry.
