I use Gboard because I can’t find another keyboard with good japanese 9 key flick typing.

USB docking station should be supported (unless it’s one of those external battery ones that plug into the bottom of the laptop). Remoting into work is fine but depends on the setup. For example, openssh with rdp works fine, can’t vouch for other solutions but I’m sure you could get them working.
Edit: I have been informed that displaylink docks require additional software. I didn’t even know those were a thing so I don’t know how difficult it would be to setup.
My bad, that’s what I mean. Whatever drive bazzite is not installed on is difficult to deal with when it comes to flatpak steam. There’s a bunch of mount params you are supposed to use but for me they didn’t work whatsoever on bazzite.
Just a heads up, but gaming on an external drive with bazzite is a nightmare (if you end up trying to go that route).
I have simforge pedals, vrs direct drive wheel, a Chinese knock off h pattern shifter, and a moza Hand break. The hand break is the only one that works without any tinkering. I couldn’t get the pedals to work at all, and the wheel doesn’t register properly so I haven’t been able to get that working either sadly.
I wish I could fully abandon my windows partition, but sadly my sim racing peripherals don’t all work on Linux, and I bought those before I started thinking about switching.
Purely theoretical as I don’t have any sources on how cars are doing this, but they could be communicating over low band networks similar to how Amazon home devices make a mesh network. Your car could send data to another car of the same manufacturer, who then phones home that data.
Can confirm, done this exact thing with tasker in the past. Don’t have the script anymore though.
