Is there a particular reason it’s being played in 2024 and not 2023?

Guess the thinking is that as a famous professional athlete, the possibility of you knowing other famous professional athletes in other sports, and being able to get insider info etc… is more likely so can benefit that way. Though that is obviously a bit of a loose guess.
