This is just my experience, but I have had next to zero issues running games on the Deck that were related to the platform. Most problems I’ve encountered are along the lines of the game being KBM-centric and it being difficult to play with the controller inputs.

The only Linux-specific issues I can’t think of are related to trying to install or mod games outside of Steam (Skyrim in particular is far more difficult to mod on Linux than I expected).

We don’t! When I was younger I had a theory that the brain is a 3D representation of an organ that exists in a higher dimension. Granted, I had (and still have) no relevant expertise to properly speculate on how that could work, but it was fun to think about.

For power users that do use regedit, I’d argue there’s still a gap between that and using a shell. The registry can be edited entirely with the Windows graphical utility, after all.

Do escapees of NK often express disbelief that the rest of the world dislikes the country they escaped from? Your question seems to be a non sequitur.

If you’re on Linux (or Mac), add an alias to your .bashrc:

alias activate="source env/bin/activate"

Now you can activate your venv by just running activate in the project root!

Hey now, there are some (very few, but some) mobile games that are quite good. Dawncaster is an excellent deck builder for example.

Honestly mad respect for owning it. No one’s perfect all the time, and it takes a lot of courage to be able to admit when those mistakes happen.

In my opinion, that makes you MORE qualified to be a mod – not less.

There was some brief hullabaloo where some nobody on Xitter claimed M$ was considering the buying Valve for 12B$. No sources, no credibility, but some news sources started talking about it like it was news.

What about a live service Titanfall game in the same vein as Helldivers?

One key point in here is about JKR’s article she wrote about her motivations. In it, she describes how she was a victim of assault, and how when she heard about Scotland’s new law giving more freedoms to trans people, it triggered her into reliving her assault.

Somehow, JKR is associating trans rights with a literal attack on her person that she suffered years ago. Once you understand this, it suddenly makes sense that she has such intense vitriol for trans people. It makes sense why she’s fighting tooth and nail against the rights of marginalized people – because to her, she’s fighting back against very real pain.

Of course, there is no actual connection between trans rights and her assault. She wasn’t attacked by a trans person, and the person who assaulted her isn’t the leader of pro-trans activist movements.

And so unfortunately it looks like she legitimately is having a mental breakdown. She needs to see a professional yesterday.
