@Jean_le_Flambeur @Flatworm7591 maybe you should have voted for them.

@FlashMobOfOne I agree with you on a personal level. If others want to volunteer to do such I think they have a right to, even if I would recommend against them personally exercising such a right.
@awwwyissss @FlashMobOfOne if a cause is just it should be able to be taken care of voluntarily.
@JackFromWisconsin I feel like back in the 90s these types of conversations happened nearly weekly in our High School Chemistry class with our regular teacher. Substitutes, woa nelly you better hang on!
Nobody hates Star Trek as much as Star Trek fans.

@jonsnothere @Dyskolos yeah, I just saw this when I searched for it aussieexotics.com/2009/08/05/b…
I would suspect no one is actually this tone deaf, in which case this is a funny joke. Then again, I did recently speak with a zoomer who wasn’t familiar with what 9/11 referred to, if they are representative of their generation the idea of a tank to warsaw from berlin might not bring about imagery of Nazi occupations of Poland.
especially now F1 is gone
what do you mean F1 is gone? I’ve never heard an American talk about Formula 1 unless there was an alien in the conversation. It’s NASCAR or nothing.
@Zagorath I did include the link, emergingcricket.com/insight/un… I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be showing on your end.
@Gorgritch_umie_killa because I like being able to watch and talk about cricket and I live in America. Most of my friends are American. Most of them aren’t going to go out of their way to find a way to watch cricket, like paying >$100 a month for Satellite TV, and then an additional $10 a month to get Willow, the only channel I’m aware of that broadcasts Cricket in America.
I want the game to be successful in the States so bad, but it feels like every chance they get those in power seem to screw it up. I suspect they are just incompetent, but sometimes it feels deliberate.
I see they corrected the article, where it now says T20 it used to say T201. I thought maybe there was some other new format to compete with THE HUNDRED.
There’s nowhere in the Bible that it says everything of the faith is contained in the bible. Though it does say that we should cling to tradition even if not written “Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours.” 2 Thessilonians 2:15
That being said, the Church usually points to Jesus as having instituted the sacrament of reconciliation here "Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.” John 20:23
AC/DC certainly isn’t current music in the 24th century 😉
@abbadon420 @Flatworm7591 but pirates are anti-facist too.
