Wireguard is even easier
Wireguard is even easier
Yeah, it’s definitely more enticing.
“You’re telling me if I inhale this, it tastes like donuts!?”
😂
Any doctor will tell you that breathing anything other than air is harmful. Vaping is far and away less harmful than cigarettes, and when used for their intended purpose (smoking cessation), they are absolutely the “healthier” option.
Why do you need to cast to it? An Android TV device like the one I mentioned can just play that content.
“Smart TVs” usually suck as the manufacturers tend to put in the cheapest internals that have very little future proofing/longevity.
You’re going to be infinitely better off getting some kind of android TV box (the ONN 4k from Walmart runs Google TV and it’s usually around $20) and just using the “Smart TV” as a display.
Tinc is terrible
It’s awful to setup, and hasn’t been updated in years. Anything Wireguard, or Wireguard-based will be lightyears better.
Realdebrid + Stremio + Torrentio plugin
Edit: Here’s a guide I followed from the bad place
Human Centipede
Bring out the gimp.
I thought pretty much everyone got their MMR shots these days… But there I go underestimating stupid people again.
sketchy third party apps
I was replying mostly about the “sketchy” comment. The apps I mentioned are open source, and are among the most popular programs for anyone customizing Windows - maybe even top 5.
If you’re not a Windows user, then yeah, why would you personally need to know of them? Much like the average Windows user would not be able to even tell you what ls
and cat
are for. Doesn’t make those tools any less valid.
To be fair, you can use just a couple open source tools like ExplorerPatcher and Open-Shell to vastly improve the UX.
I’d actually say it’s easier to get a modern environment in Windows 11 as it natively has a tabbed file manager and terminal.
I say this as someone who has to use Windows, versus wanting to use Windows.
ExplorerPatcher + Open-Shell = ❤️
Depends on how the partitions are arranged. I’m assuming your Windows is first (going left to right), then probably your boot partition, then your main ext4, and then maybe a swap?
Definitely shrink the windows partition using disk management, but then in Linux you can clone your boot partition to the beginning of the free space, delete the old boot, and then expand the ext4. You don’t HAVE to do it from a live environment, but it is the safest.
I didn’t google much, but this seems about right: https://www.baeldung.com/linux/resize-partitions
I remember running DSL on the OG Xbox! Good times.
Torrentio works with other services, not just RealDebrid. Premiumize and AllDebrid are similar services that allow crypto.
I can always be swayed, go on…
Most people who matter
From what I have gathered, Bazzite seems like the obvious choice out of those 3.
At first I naively thought “why is that a bad thing?”, but then realized who exactly decides what these “national interests” are?
Definitely using some “weasel words” in their policy to get away with some shady shit.
