Hey I do what I can
Hey I do what I can
Problem for me is phones are uncomfortable to use for gaming in so many ways. My hands aren’t even that big, and my thumbs cover a lot of the screen. Then phones get hot when using them a lot. Not to mention staring that long at a mobile screen makes my eyes feel like raisins. Plus it’s really shit posture to sit with your neck bent at a 90° angle looking straight down into your lap. None of these are very enjoyable for a gaming experience.
I won’t even talk about the crazy predatory nature of most phone games being aggressive dopamine hijackers, cause that’s covered in the thread already, but that too.
If anyone is actually curious they’re just salt&black pepper, with kinda black carbon to make the chips look black
I truly hope the anti video game nuts start attacking true crime docs now with the same passion they’ve had for call of duty and gta for the last 20+ years
Not to piss in the soup here, but if someone wants to murder you, it’s perfectly doable for them to meet you in a public place, do the lesson, and then simply follow you afterwards. I say this as a former private English teacher who has heard multiple stories from colleagues about stalker students who always had lessons in “safe” places
The fly has maxed out linguistic stats and can understand all languages… But it still has normal fly senses so all you can hear is air vibrations
I’d love to see what a liberal asshole politician would look like, but i can’t see it working out today. As much as the right blows wokeism out of proportion, PC culture is still a thing in a lot of liberal areas, and if you’re not PC as a liberal politician I imagine you’ll offend the more sensitive parts of your own base. Didn’t Bernie Sanders get hit with some of that? And he wasn’t even that assholeish, he just showed a spine.
“Customer is always right” isn’t a trump card for customers to win disputes with the staff. When it comes to matters of preference, yes, the customer is always right. Ketchup on ice cream? Great. Down jacket and shorts? Sure thing! If it makes you happy and you’re paying for it then you’re always right.
In most other matters though, customers are usually wrong. The idea that random people off the street know more about the products and the way a business should be run than the actual people selling said products and running said business is absolutely ridiculous.
And then, statistically, their life will be ruined so… Grotesque indeed
Oh wow, didn’t know that was the norm in the US. Where I live, it’s still common practice to send a memo out to any relevant people, and offer days off no questions asked if you feel any symptoms coming on.
Yeah this is great if you work at an honest company, but it could also cause a lot of side effects in shitty companies. Management will start underreporting on cases or even sweeping them under the rug to save their bottom line, potentially causing more outbreaks by not telling close contacts they might be infected which lets them spread it even more. Plus the whole “must be proven it was contracted at work” sounds like there’s a lot of room for fuckery.
Maybe there’s a degree of truth to this, but the issue doesn’t only apply to Gen Z… I’ve had plenty of overgrown children in their 40s and 50s lose their shit in the workplace when the slightest bit of pushback comes up about anything. I’d say this is more of a general communication skills problem these days
Funny thing is, depending on the time period, mek on DK wouldn’t even be that outlandish. I’ve seen it built in pubs and pro games plenty of times.
So… Do you often just stand in the middle of rooms while looking at your phone? That’s pretty damn weird not gonna lie
