I’d say it’s used semi frequently in skate photography. Typically a close shot with a wide lens. The tilt might be to realign the viewer with the skaters body position and show the extreme angle of the trick.

Songkick? I’ve been using it for a few years and it works reasonably well. I believe you can connect it to Spotify too. The only negative is it’s usually 3-5 days behind the announcement of shows. Following the artist directly is still the best bet to guarantee you hear it straight away. But that’s only a problem if the show/artist is super popular and sells out fast.

Is there a blog/social media page type thing for alternative sports/activities in Melbourne? Where they might review the sport, what’s involved and the culture etc. Seems like there are a lot on offer in Melbourne, but no out there trying them all and documenting it(?) Thinking things like axe throwing, Trugo, larping, bike polo, roller derby and so on.

Following sports. Being a die hard sports fan is time consuming and stressful. Obviously betting on sports is an addiction people talk about now, but even tipping comps and fantasy football type leagues are things that rob you of time and energy.
