Oh. Yeah fuck this guy.
Oh. Yeah fuck this guy.
I haven’t looked through all the cards, and I’m only really thinking of it from a limited standpoint, but it looks very fun. I’m excited to play with BFZ style Eldrazi again, probably in a draft environment that isn’t terrible.
You didn’t enjoy the turtle arc?
Do you think they needed to change how resource collection worked? I kind of liked that you had to pick a tool based on which resource you needed at the moment.
No, sadly, I doubt that anyone has a favorite anime character.
I’m an MTGO believer as well, but what regular game actions take you 15+ (I know you’re exaggerating) clicks on Arena? The interface isn’t perfect on Arena, but it’s decently functional most of the time. My gripes with Arena are mainly the monetization strategies and the insane amount of time it takes them to add cards (even with the supposed machine learning to program the cards) and features (practically none get added anymore).
They aimed to do better than MTGO with its spaghetti code made by underpaid developers, and they ended up with the flashier looking Arena with spaghetti code made by underpaid developers. They also made sure it was missing half of the game’s cards and the capability to implement much wanted features like more than two player matches and spectator mode.
Sometimes I like to think back to the good old days when Arena announcements were more than a mere calendar.
I watched and was mildly interested until the singing kicked in, then I had to nope out.
They look awesome, I can’t wait to not be able to buy them!
Are they making a Cowboy Bebop Secret Lair or something? Or is this just for fun?
It really depends on what genres of other media you’re into. If you like super hero stuff then My Hero Academia might be a good choice. It’s set in a world where most people have super powers, so it’s kind of an interesting take on that whole thing. It’s still being made, but there’s enough to keep you busy for a while.
My jumping off point for anime was Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It’s an action anime with solid characters and a good plot, and there’s not really any filler. It’s about 80 episodes and is a complete story. Definitely worth checking out even if it’s not your first.
Long live cube!
Weird that that they included this as part of the OTJ story when it is like a year overdue from the MOM story. Oh well, it was actually pretty well written and provided some necessary explanations.
Edit: Just noticed that Alison Luhrs wrote it. That makes sense since she really nailed the Jace/Vraska relationship from the beginning. The original Ixalan stories are some of the best MTG stories out there.
They have done “blocks” though like with the three Ravnica sets in a row, the two Innistrad sets, and the two Phyrexia sets. They might feel pressured to plane hop more outside of the block structure though.
This article sums up my feelings precisely. I want to go back to when Magic was Magic and not a hundred other things with no depth. I’m fine with planes like Eldraine where it’s “Magic’s take on fairy tales”, since there was some creativity and depth there, but New Capenna, Karlov Manor, and Thunder Junction all feel really cheap.
Why do you think she doesn’t care about people dying? What would make you think that?
Homarid mercenary? Fuck yeah.
Yeah, but like, the other guy was tired…
