+1 for Minetest
I run a server on our local network that kiddos love
It was fairly simple to setup including which game type and mods
Kiddos have gotten back into the Pokemon card game so we’re likely playing Pokemon TCG Live
Also hoping to finally break in the Nexalis ttrpg I’ve had on the shelf for a while now with the teens
I’m a certified forklift trainer and the training I needed for that was a single day that ended in a simple test…
Started playing FFXIV again after not playing since 2013. Decided to delete my character and start fresh as I don’t remember the story etc. and am just going to take my time enjoying everything over again.
Yep! I have a Cosori kettle that’s been working great (and outlasted my first two pots lol)
Steel tea pot - I drink a pot every day but last couple pots were both glass and only last a couple months before breaking (both my fault) so upgraded to steel and so far my clumsiness hasn’t yet managed to break it
I drink a pot of camomile every day. 1st cup is still hot while rest is more lukewarm.
I work at a computer and find it easier to continue using a screen for reading
However I do also purchase some paper books for when wanting to disconnect for a while
Thank you; looks like it turned out pretty good!
I was!
Finally made it over to the in-laws to replace a ceiling fan that had stopped working
Which genre?
Sounds cool; pictures please!
Family loves Kingdomino; yours turned out great!
My 8yrs still tinker with Gcompris a little but mostly play with Scratch Jr, emulators and web games
Kiddos love Minetest; we’ve changed out mods a few times now to experience new combinations including some minor customizations to tweak difficulty a bit
My board game prototypes! Can always use more playtesters :)
Shortly after turning 18 I was offered a commission job selling Kirby vacuum cleaners with a fairly large guaranteed weekly pay. I product was high quality and the people interviewing were calm, well mannered and assured that we would absolutely not be using any pressure tactics for the sales.
Day 1 we’re taught about how to demo the machine and get to tag along for a couple scheduled sales
Day 2 we’re taught how to pressure entry into a home for door to door sales demos…
Day 7-ish a friend of the boss joins the group who is super high pressure and boss gets excited to immediately move that direction
After 2 weeks it was clear that this was exactly the opposite of what I’d signed up for (including the lack of guaranteed pay) so I left in search of something better.
Ditto though '84
