It’s the real estate developers that are in a pinch for building unneeded office buildings and the business that own too many of them. It’s the reason that bosses are bitching about in person work.
I hope the shareholders are happy that a lot of people don’t play their loot box car game anymore.
The ATACMS being at their end of service life means that we would have had to spend far more to have them decomissioned properly than to just ship them to Ukraine. That and these nearly 30 year old missiles seem to still be able to get past Russian latest and greatest AA platforms. These being cluster munitions make them ideal for taking out large groups of aircraft in airfields that the HIMARS couldn’t reach. Storm shadow cruise missiles are fantastic and have a greater range but they’re much more expensive and take more effort to deploy.
I lost a lot of interest once I realized that the story lines would always turn in to “computer bad”. End. I missed when we had more interesting scifi short stories turned in to anthology episodes.
Hamas rockets have killed plenty of people in the past. They aren’t shooting off bottle rockets. They have hit people in Gaza many times before with failed rockets.
Maybe step back for a second from what you want to be true and try to judge the evidence. I mean that for everyone really.
They just don’t want fresh Hamas terrorist cells popping up and trying to start a coup in their country. There are many large Muslim countries in the area and non of them want to allow a single Palestinian in.
They’re turning in to China with their final warnings every 10 minutes.
I’ve encountered them a number of times in my area and I’ve always had the urge to rear end them and use the excuse that I couldn’t see because there was a lot of black smoke for some reason.
They can just do that somewhere other than private property. I’m sure they would be shot if the tables were turned.
I don’t think killing civilians is the goal of Israel but it definitely is the goal of Hamas. The civilians could reject Hamas but they actually support them pretty strongly It seems.
But you’re trying to argue that it passes some ethical boundary even being used in its most mundane things. It’s fine if we differ in that opinion.
It’s nasty if it gets in contact with humans but that doesn’t mean that it is inherently evil. They haven’t crossed some sort of line in weapons ethics. It’s an accepted tool on the battlefield with multiple uses having nothing to do with directly harming people. It’s like saying water is bad because you drank several gallons and your brain swelled up from the osmotic pressure. Heck even flamethrowers are perfectly fine to use in war.
Some civilians will die in a war in such a densely populated area. No one has figured out how to completely eliminate that. War sucks.
Yeah, I have no doubt it’s a good thing for Netanyahu(fuck that guy). Both the Iseali and Hamas leaders stand to benefit from this situation. It seems like Hamas wanted a big backlash as well. While it does seem to get a few other Terrorist groups in the area to celebrate and do some smaller attacks popular opinion outside of the Muslim world is heavily in Israel’s favor. Until it is obvious that they are targeting civilians specifically they will keep that support. Hamas is the most legitimate government that Gaza has and Hamas turned a large portion of the buildings in Gaza in to legitimate military targets.
No it doesn’t
But what? Where are all of the Muslim countries railing against Russia for using it to burn whole villages of Ukraines?
