May I ask which extension you are using?
May I ask which extension you are using?
Erm… What am I missing about Helldivers 2? I don’t own it so I’m not in the loop.
EDIT: nvm, found the answer in a different post. Probably should have looked before asking.
Makes it even better that I’m on mobile so the text wrapped half way through a word.
Last year I got top 0.01% of Exodus listeners (thrash metal band). 7,031 mins.
This year I got top 0.05% Municipal Waste.
Edit: both bands have around 500,000 monthly listeners if I remember correctly.
Haha good one, great meme.
If this gets passed, we are on our way to VPNs etc. being considered illegal, everything being monitored like some other countries we know of… Fucking dictatorship move.
I recently switched to Eternity and I’m loving it so far. Only been using it a day, but I haven’t run into any issues or anything to dislike.
I personally do not want to use any applications that have ads/tracking. I don’t believe they have any place on Lemmy. I know already that I’m gonna be downvoted to oblivion, but I understand that these devs need to make money somehow. I just think it goes against the whole freer internet thing. Despite this, I don’t really have a problem with them because they are contributing to the growth of Lemmy. And besides it is way better than using a centralised social media platform haha, so it will remain a personal choice.
Not even a day later, and I’ve switched to Eternity, because connects GUI was pretty ugly and upvotes/downvotes weren’t saving/sticking. Haha. Loving it so far and the GUI is much nicer in my opinion.
Same situation for me. Connect seems to be good enough for my liking, I just dislike the upvoting icons/location.
Fuck both Activision and Microsoft*
Eh, but at least the additional content on the news channels could be seen as somewhat useful. There is nothing useful about watching another random clip of Subway Surfers.
Slayer - Raining Blood
As many others have said, it’s only natural for the trends to plateau. After a sudden surge of users, due to the Reddit controversy, some of the less “devoted” (can’t think of the best word) are bound to leave in search of a more user-friendly experience or a community with more active users. I too, also wish that some of the more niche communities had more active users, however I also understand that these things take time and A LOT more users. For that reason and for the sake of a freer internet, I reckon I’m in for the long haul. I’m also trying to contribute as much as I can with the limited time I have. I think people need to understand that because we aren’t the product/customer anymore, we need to help to contribute content and help the build new communities.
It’s annoying that most things are behind a subscription now. Who wants more bills, surely everyone would rather save up money and pay outright? Then I suppose the companies would make less money smh. Hopefully subscriptions don’t become more popular to the point where you can’t own anything or at least hold a permanent license.
Definitely not me procrastinating right now …
The only issues I had with dual booting is an out of sync clock (due to Windows using local time), and Windows wiped one of my Linux drives (I installed Windows second, so unplug any unused drives before installing Windows). The last issue I am still unsure what caused it, however I remember installing Windows and the next time I use Linux the drive is empty.
Precisely.
It already did this, I’m guessing based on subscriptions or something, but as others have mentioned they probably have my history anyway. It’s honestly less about the fact that I can’t get recommendations and more about the fact that they are trying to force people to turn on history. But tbh even without this I am happy to have found a federated version similar to Lemmy.
Thanks.
