Todd bought Fallout because Fallout was only just seen as a way to make merch out of. Yes, let’s have vault boy on everything, let’s have nuka-cola replicas, let’s have bottle cap replicas .etc

But nothing about whether or not the games are even worth a toss to play. There’s people who still to this day, favor FO 1, 2 and New Vegas. They were made with a level of charm and care that got YOU to where you are today. FO 3, 4 and 76 all feel like just empty open worlds with recycled material, it’s running in place with no forward progression.

The OG creator of FO may be a humble guy, but the series still deserve better.

Curious, I checked out Chris Dodd and wonder what he’s up to. He’s a close advisor now to Biden so I’d imagine he’s whispering in Biden’s ear and whoever will listen, about how much of piracy is ‘bad for ya’. In case anyone forgot, Chris Dodd was a major asshole during his 6 year stint (2011 - 2017) with MPAA and he ultimately failed in stopping piracy.

I don’t think this latest tactic will work. Congress couldn’t even understand Facebook and they couldn’t even hold Mark Zuckerberg of all people, accountable for his shit. Congress, MPAA and all the forces in the world couldn’t stop Kim Dotcom. MPAA, ACE and whatever, still cannot shut down The Pirate Bay.

The only victories they’ve gotten in all of the 20+ year decade war on piracy, is that most times, the sites go down because of lack of funding and support. They only take down big sites because they’ve found weak links or they’ve found those run-a-mouth pirates who’ve gotta go around talking shit about pirating to the point where they’re a liability then wonder why their favorite service/site is shut down.

I loathe that platforms treat themselves this way. We see this happen over and over again when a newcomer comes into the field to shake things up. They become, eventually, the best alternative. They eventually become the only thing.

And all that they turn out to be, are just portfolio fluffing projects to be made into an IPO. Then the enshittification and oh, there is next to no where to go.

This fucking sucks. It was only recently for a while, I was watching Dragon Ball clips of fights, moments and everything. Dragon Ball was never really my favorite series, it’s only a guilty pleasure that I find myself watching it and having some favorite characters and moments of the show.

I was more of a Tenchi Muyo/Berserk/Fist of the North Star kind of fan. But I had a soft spot appreciation for what Dragon Ball brought and has done for it’s community. I am also grateful that Toriyama brought Dragon Ball back so it could see new heights in the way of where it is, after Dragon Ball GT and Evolution almost killed the series.

RIP Toriyama-san.

The short answer is yes, but you’ll have to get used to the reality that Nintendo themselves will not be there for you if anything goes wrong down in those 20 years. There will be third-party fixers and a community of people who’ll probably have things made for replacements.

You are far better off using a Switch as opposed to a DS. You can emulate more on a Switch than a DS.

And sometimes, if you’ve experienced an accident, it makes you terrified to drive again.

I was a very happy bicyclist for 3 years that had a carriage. Of course my only problem was that the carriage wasn’t big enough for big purchases.

But knowing that I got to shop and put groceries and stuff in the carriage, riding around car-insurance free, gas-free and the only repairs I had to worry about didn’t amount to an arm and a leg like it would a car. My only other problem is that I picked the wrong bike type which was a one-speed so there was struggle.

Either way, I’d love to have that again.
