Honestly, I just found the android app incredibly clunky and annoying to navigate. I’m hoping it’ll improve with time, because I would like to move to a FOSS solution.

I’m with you on obsidian. Logseq comes close, but the app falls a bit short for me as of yet.
I’m a big fan of the following:
Maintenance Phase: discusses health/diet fads and scams
You’re Wrong About: debunking the popular (but misinformed) narratives surrounding many well-known events of the past
Underunderstood: going down the rabbit hole of strange “ungoogle-able” questions (this one really fills the void Reply All left behind)
Darknet Diaries: super riveting cybersecurity (or just general security) stories
Skiff mail seems to be a pretty good service if you’re not keen on protonmail. Privacyguides gives it a favorable review.
I’ve been a flashaholic since the CWM days, but I haven’t rooted since probably 2017 or so. Back in the day, rooting was practically necessary for a good UX, but Android’s matured enough now that I haven’t had the need for a few years.
Bôa - Duvet (Acoustic Version), it’s an alternate version of the opening song to the fantastic show Serial Experiments Lain. I don’t have any particularly impactful memories associated with it, but for some reason it just gets me feelin. Night walks with this song just hit different.
