Pretty stoked for this. The superhero genre seems strangely missing in gaming, barring IP related projects connected to DC and Marvel. This came the closest to matching the thrill of being a superhero, when it came out. Character creation was amazing, too

Don’t have anything to add, just appreciation for your post. A true evil playthrough would be interesting. Done well it’d uncomfortable and illuminating. But maybe too threatening for many? Maybe we stick to simplistic versions because they are safe?

Dishonored 2 did something in the right direction, the way choices start to color the world around you.

Is this something that you experience urges around? If so, what outlet do you provide them? Are there certain mediums like written stories or hentai that you find acceptable?

I notice that for all the disgust expressed around pedophilia, there is also rather rampant sexualization of children and teens. Not just in hentai but in, say, beauty pageants — and now, apparently, via AI imagery — occurring across many nations/cultures. Curious what you make of this.

What is the endgame of pedophilia? Like, even if it were permissible, what would you be seeking? How do you reconcile with the reality that a kid will age out of the zone to which you are attracted? I guess: is it something that is more about the fantasy? Is there a sexual component, or is it a sort of a Michael Jackson thing, where you prefer their company?

Finally, just want to mention that there are often low fee options for therapy. They might be with a pre-licensed person, but the quality of treatment is dependent on the match with the therapist anyhow. No idea how you’d find someone willing to work with you but, given you don’t report having acted on any urges, your information remains confidential and you can shop around until you find someone who is willing to do so.

afa music collection, I slowly shift things from folder to folder where I gradually cull tracks which I decide I no longer need to hear. I curate rather than hoard (although I see long term value in others opting to keep everything for the sake of all; so ‘hoard’ is not intended to judge those who do in this instance).

To find new music, I lean on Bandcamp. ofc they’re trying to sell the artist on the platform; but the blogs are often quite good, steering me to stuff I would’ve unlikely discovered on my own. If I identify a new genre that I’ve gravitated towards, I read up on it, e.g. on Wikipedia, to find other artists emblematic of the style
