Sorry, I’ve just seen nearly that exact wording from anti-trans people.

Yeah that’s my point. It seems like the person is saying that it’s crazy to believe that the #savethechildren bumper sticker is anti-trans. It’s a really common right-wing ‘trick’. You make up a phrase implying gay or trans people are after kids and then go “it doesn’t say anything about that on the sticker, I guess that says something about trans people if that’s where your mind went” when called out on it.
Save the children from what?
You can’t just ignore the second part of that sentence which gives the right to make commits to all citizens of earth. That would include the person who wrote the last commit.
If I were launching an air raid on a flat earth, I’d have the planes fly over the edge and under the earth. They wouldn’t be able to see you coming.
Doesn’t Samsung messages support RCS? I know it did at one point. You just had to go into the settings and enable the option.
I’m not sure I follow. Freedom is a huge issue for young American women, which is why we lean so much towards freedom on the scale. I would imagine the lack of hope would move young women to push for freedom, since a lot of this ‘control’ stuff involves controlling women. I think it’s just as likely if not more likely that the increase in despair didn’t change the political leanings because they are already so freedom leaning rather than the young women are a few bad days away from embracing fascism.
You could also interpret those results as young women hitting a wall on how much towards freedom they will go. Every other group was much lower on the freedom scale, so they had more room to move.
It’s more like like a seasoned veteran, not cooking seasoning.
You aren’t throwing garlic on the pan and then putting it in the cupboard. You build up layers of polymerized oil on the pan as you cook on it.
I’ve sort of fine the same thing. Most console games are optimized around their ‘quality’ game mode. Many games will have the quality mode be a solid locked 30 fps while performance will be a low res, blurry mess running at an unlocked frame rate between 40-55 fps. I’ll happily play at 30 fps to avoid those issues.
Do not, my friends, become addicted to 60 fps. It will take hold of you, and you will resent its absence!
I haven’t seen anything that has said that. I couldn’t find that in the article either.
That’s my point. Reviewers gave it great scores when there weren’t any microtransactions and they haven’t changed anything in the game to make those microtransactions important. You can play the game the exact same way the reviewers did by just ignoring them.
They say in the article that reviewers were told about the microtransactions. Then they mention that one reviewer said he didn’t read the notes that were sent by Capcom. Why would this reviewer need to go back and rescore the game? If he enjoyed it without knowing about the microtransactions, they clearly don’t matter to the gameplay.
Watermarking isn’t to stop you from buying a game on steam and cracking it, it’s to stop you from uploading screenshots or videos of a game you have alpha/beta access to.
If a game does ship with this, it’s also shipping with denuvo. A cracker that can bypass denuvo can bypass the watermarking too.
Yes, it is a thing in the US. People do it mostly to avoid filing taxes with the US when they don’t plan on ever living here. It’s rather expensive and time consuming. You have to pay a big fee ($2350 + any unpaid taxes) to do it and set up an appointment with the embassy/consulate.
Wow. And here I was thinking Elmer’s glue was named after the Borden cartoon cow. It’s nice knowing you can learn history like this from Lemmy comments.
The exploit needed admin privileges to work, so it seems like Microsoft viewed it as low priority.
I just think it needs a bit more if it only hits nonland. The other versions of Ulamog are 10/10 Indestructibles that provide a lot of value when they attack, even if chumped or if their cast trigger never went off.
Excluding lands opens up lots of opportunities for your opponent to just exile it before you ever get a chance to attack with it. The 10/10 body doesn’t have trample and is even counterable. If your opponent manages to draw creatures, they can stall until they draw a real answer.
That depends on what you mean by not hurting anyone with that belief. You can believe in whatever you want if it honestly doesn’t hurt anyone else, but that’s not usually how it goes. Just leaving a comment saying you dislike trans people is hurtful. Imagine scrolling through a comment section and seeing random comments where people say they hate that you exist.
How can you reconcile believing they have the right to exist with not liking that they exist? How is that functionally any different?
