First of all, this land is the cause of conflict between India and Pakistan, you seem to have read one sided history. If you have read history, you should conclude Pakistan as the occupier as they invaded then indepdent state of Kashmir. The ruler of Kashmir signed over succession to India. The western interest isn’t to aid India but rather drain out resources of India and Pakistan for useless conflict (roots of which can be traced back to British Raj) even USA has been one of the biggest western supporters of Pakistan.
