Mass Civil unrest occurs and Ivanka steps down to return leadership to a strong man that can truly lead with an iron fist through the ensuing Civil War in true fascist fashion.

Of course, they would never get away with all of that (because average Americans ARE good people, and there are plenty of good people fighting this possible future), but IMHO this is probably close to their best wet dreams.

Some people are mocking Christians, but the intent of the original performance, and the intent of this thread, is very clearly to mock people that USE Christianity as ammunition against people and things they don’t like. Since you bring up logic, the logical fallacy you’re displaying is called the false equivalence fallacy. Blackface is outrageous because the purpose is to demonize and humiliate black people. The purpose of drag is to CELEBRATE freedom of feminine expression, regardless of sex/gender. One is inherently exclusive, while the other is inherently inclusive.

It seemed like you were referring to overall voting trends. I was referring specifically to the vote suppression of city dwellers due to the extreme gerrymandering that has historically happened in Texas. Glad we agree though.

To add a bit more context to this for the unaware: LiveNation is the umbrella Corp that owns TicketMaster as well as over 70% (IIRC) of the live music industry in the U.S. They’re making a killing on tickets, alcohol sales, backend software licensing, and many different artist/event management firms. They also pay their employees the lowest wages relative to the rest of the live music industry, which was already a vastly underpaid industry before Live Nation came to power in the 2010’s. Further, the CEO’s salary increased by 1000% between 2019 and 2023 while the peasants got a meaningless raise from pre-inflation starvation wages to post-inflation starvation wages. They’re the epitome of an exploitative monopoly, at every level.

That notion is hilarious to me as a Texan that used to travel up and down the west coast regularly for work. I’ve been to many areas of California that are just as red as any rural areas in Texas. It’s exactly the same as every other state(I’ve been to 48 of the 50 at least several times each state). Rural areas tend to be skewed red, urban tends to be skewed blue. I guess the simplicity of that is hard to see if all the online content you consume is propaganda…

Personally, I don’t see what is “curious” about responding to wild accusations against an entire minority group with a resounding “that’s not happening and you’re using a dog whistle to dehumanize trans people.”

Things may be less “curious” for you if, instead of starting with a conclusion and working backwards to justify/explain it, you started with a question/hypothesis and worked towards a logical conclusion. Just a suggestion.
