And it has to be in a perfectly clean container with a pristine surface, like a glass beaker.

If I translated this correctly, he is transgender and the military withdrew the summons after they found out. Still sucks, but that’s a lot better than conscription.
I mean, I feel for the kid and I hope someone gets him out, but let’s not pretend like the back of his head isn’t the Ukrainian flag though. This kid is either profoundly stupid or was intentionally pushing the boundaries.
I support him if that’s what he was doing, but it’s not hard to see how this happened.
I’m gonna need more than two boxes…
Would they still be random after the genie gave them to him?
Mine too lol. I know that isn’t technically enough, but we aren’t talking instantaneous damage like a laser here. You need to be much more careful around stuff like that.
Regular UV radiation is a gradient, like going outside without sunblock. You’re gonna burn if you are an idiot about it. Don’t stare at the thing for 60 minutes straight. We looked, we saw, and then we stopped looking.
Yep, same here. The auto darkening set I normally use didn’t really work, but I just looked through a piece of spare glass I had lying around for a passive set.
Around here, it’s usually not at a local physical bank. My online high yield savings is currently at 4.5% though; that’s where my emergency funds are.
Yes, but car, home (or renters), and health insurance are required for the average person because all of those have a reasonable chance of absolutely bankrupting a regular person for life at any moment.
The alternative is to pay more taxes and have the government provide the insurance, which may or may not be better. There are pros and cons to both.
Either way though, you need the safety net that insurance provides.

My 32gb version was recently upgraded and it never gave out. They’ll take a pretty serious beating.

Yea they are all over the place, and it is clearly not organic.
It makes me heavily distrust them.
I’m not educated in this matter at all, this is just a guess with no basis.
A “cloud chamber” is a device used to detect radiation, and it has been that for a long time. Perhaps they wanted to distance themselves from that device, hence the strained acronym CLOUD.
Ubuntu has ZFS on root as one of the options in the normal graphical installer. I have it running on multiple machines.
To be fair, this one is true… Its just that they are also designed to protect you from stray microwaves lol
That is… Not quite the same as I thought whenever I read that word. Around here, a co-op is a collective purchasing program or a store that participates in a similar program. They buy foods in bulk at wholesale prices. By bulk, I don’t mean the family size bags available at a membership club like Costco. I mean like a 100lb bag of flour meant for a restaurant or an entire pallet of something.
A group of people get together and make note of what they want to buy, and if enough people want the same item it gets purchased. Then they all meet up on delivery day and split the item at the amounts they paid for.
I’m assuming that is very different than what you are describing.
It’s not, look at postgres under both DB in the last picture. That’s not just the same writing, it’s identical.
In this case it’s probably a case of repeated porch pirates. Or one of their neighbors ordering a bunch of stuff and reporting it stolen even if it wasn’t.
The scenario they are describing is more work for the driver, not less.
“Autonomous healing of fatigue cracks via cold welding”
That’s the literal name of the paper. I’m quite over this story getting pumped around the internet. This is not news. This is not novel.
Also, this particular source leaving out the fact that the experiment was performed under vacuum is especially deceitful.
As the other commenter noted, this post is missing it’s image. However, I found your people: !thelyricsgame@lemmy.ca
