I had a friend who was about as computer illiterate as they come, they had a crappy gateway laptop(netbook maybe) that had kubuntu on it they preferred it to when they had win vista(yes this was forever ago, i replaced vista with kubuntu because it was lighter than gnome at the time) they loved the kde interface and most of what they did was Myspace Tumblr and Facebook, but even they managed to figure out play on Linux and wine after a few months

They are pretty mid in my opinion. Worth trying to see if you like them though.

Phone, maybe second phone, some form of iems/earbuds, money, keys, various writing instruments(pens/markers), my film camera, an 8bitdo controller, a folding keyboard/trackpad thing, umbrella, jacket, water bottle, towel, Sometimes a change of clothes, couple tools, pokewalker, and a hair brush/hair ties/bobby pins.

It already is on mine, no trace of chromium or it’s forks.

Afaik, you can just download windows and run it, you’ll just get an “activate windows” prompt that might be annoying. It’s great if you just want to try something out if you need windows to update firmware of a peripheral.

Backspace, because my cat likes to step on my keyboard and then characters are often left in the password field that need cleared.

I believe once win 10 hits eol we’ll see more users jump ship, myself included.

Hopefully the minecart challenge isn’t as impossible to beat as it used to be.
