    It’s interesting, I don’t really remember the change. It feels normal, and apparently it started in the media only in 2015-17, yet it seems normal to have macrons in place names now.

    That is a really cool article; but my favorite part is the correction at the end, where the local time vs UTC is accounted for.

    Ah that’s interesting. I was expecting that user Gadfium to be referenced though, they used to always be a good person to turn to if there was an edit war or vandalism.

    Interesting article, thanks for posting! Kudos to Stuff as well.

    I really don’t get why some people are so resistant to the more prominent position Te Reo is taking in society recently. Another language and culture is the spice we can add to our plain, unseasoned potatoes that is our predominantly European colonial history.
