Scientists are warning that apparently stable glaciers in the Antarctic can "switch very rapidly" and lose large quantities of ice as a result of warmer oceans.
Don’t get carried away with this … I don’t mean for anyone to go out and kill people. What I’m saying is that the world won’t take any of this seriously until global climate change affects the world so much that thousands or millions of people start dying.
Climate change already has killed thousands of people. Starvation due to recent drought and people killed in floodings are examples of this.
But of course stupid people will just point out, that there have always been droughts and floodings and ignore the significant increase in such catastrophes.
