That’s… interesting. I have to wonder why. Are they going to do something new afterwards?
I wonder how commercially successful these compilation projects are. If it is profitable enough, it could be worthwhile to do it without the intention of announcing a new project. I don’t really claim to know how the economics of these things typically work.
I wonder if it’s to get a bit of extra cashflow for sequels, without needing to invest much time into it. Often, I feel like a summary does tend to mean something new is coming.
There’s still a lot left to adapt so hopefully they’re working on those.
