Alright, I am not one that always gets into the OST of any given show. However, Samurai Champloo is built different. If you haven’t seen the show before, it is a samurai show that heavily draws from the hip-hop scene of the early 2000’s, made by the same director as Cowboy Bebop. It is a great show with an absolutely legendary soundtrack.

        It really was and what a terrible way to go. He would have been such a powerhouse in the Lofi hip-hop scene.

          The fact that his influence can be seen all over the lo-fi scene is a testament to that I personally consider him the best lofi artist and he died over a decade ago now.

            I agree completely, but he passed in 2010 when Lofi was still a reasonably niche genre. Imagine what could have been if he had been around to see the genre mature into the mainstream.
