Because the scientist who coined the term didn’t spend decades trying to unfuck his bad research or anything…

    Alphas literally are not real.

Alpha males are so desperate to be ubermenchen, its like Neitzscheism cranked up to 11.5

I suspect alpha males feel insufficiently masculine the way trans men do, only the latter group is contending with a feminine body. The alpha males just have a bad internal guage.

It is kinda funny that after a scientist made the mistake of anthropomorphizing a pack of wolves during his research, we found that a lot of people identifying as “alphas.” Maybe the scientist just chose the wrong field.

As a tech geek, I tend to look at “alpha” as it is used in software. In early development, unstable, not feature complete, and unsuitable for the public.

Okay, but, like, wtf is going on in this picture? Red dotty area is supposed to be his kneecap, right? But what the hell is in the center of it? It looks like an oddly drawn snout with a nostril in it. Then there’s whatever that bulbous growth is to the right of the knee. Is the darker blue line the outline of his leg, or is it the green ‘I’ve-got-really-wide-calves’ line? And then what in the eye-popping-nasty-juju is the black area outlined by the teal? Is that supposed to be his upper thigh with the arm resting on it? Is it another animal clinging to him? Is that kneecap actually the head of an owl (look at the ear shape of the shiny/rubber black looking area), and the black thing going up the body clinging on?

This image is so old I had it on my mp3 player, when I was a kid. (Don’t ask why, we’ll both just cringe) He just has very thick legs, so he can do all the cool parkouring, I imagined him doing, while sitting in the backseat of my parents car, listening to Nightwish and Subway To Sally.

…man, this post is bringing back some memories.

Judging by the amount of crustiness on this image I’m more tempted to say it’s a compression artifact. AI models don’t generally apply this much JPEG and I can’t think of a reason why someone would do so after the fact

          the text is compressed too.

i believe the base image is ai generated, then text is added on top, then it is lightly fried in jpeg for a nice crispy texture.

That image is decades old, I recall it from my middle school years (right around 2000). When I saw it I recognised it immediately and another user also noted they recognise it so I don’t think we’re mistaken.

Isn’t it funny how collectively we have become so used to ai pics already that we are seeing ai where ai could not be?

Late 90’s/early 2000’s were some crazy times! Wish I could do back and experience it all again!

Wait until the alpha finds the idiot collective that doesn’t speak Greek and screams about being number 1. There’s always dumber wolves.
