Adding to the mountain of evidence that Israel is engaged in a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera on Thursday aired footage of what the news outlet reported was an Israeli drone targeting four Palestinians in Khan Younis last month.

Those killed by the unmanned aerial vehicle in the rubble of the southern Gaza city appear to be unarmed teenagers or young men. According to a translation of the coverage, they were not identified in the reporting.

Correct me if I’m wrong but this doesn’t look like a footage of a drone killing anyone. Just a drone looking at something. Maybe another drone did that, yes. Maybe there were mines, yes. But not what the title suggests.

Yep, it’s so easy to fool people. For all we know, the drone just captured the explosion of a roadside bomb.

Not saying war crimes are not happening. Just saying that propoganda and DIP is happening a lot more.

Doesn’t sound like you watched the video. 3 individual blasts, no blast crater left below, and the blast eminates from where they are standing/crawling. Healthy criticism is healthy only when the evidence is reviewed.

The video was pulled down by the time I saw the post.

So my statement is more of my general approach to when the media source tells me how I should feel.

This is an Israeli surveillance drone looking at an attack. I’ve been looking at Ukraine war footage, and that’s the viewing angle of most videos out of that conflict. They have eyes on the target and then call in a strike, and observe the strike so they know what the result is. Only sometimes do you see things from the POV of the attack drone, and even then that’s usually just a second angle.

And it’s not a mine. You can see some projectile coming in in 1 or 2 frames before the explosions.
