One of the biggest things you can do to dilute your message as a group, especially a small group, is to choose too many targets. As you said elsewhere, Greenpeace is already promoting veganism, as is PETA and a number of other groups. These guys don’t need to jump on that bandwagon to get the message out. Let them focus on what they’re doing, which also needs to be done. Otherwise, all you’re doing is redirecting criticism from the bad actors to the people trying to make them stop.

They list a lot of values on their website, and it would seem odd that promoting veganism, wouldn’t be part of their mission. After all, the vegan movement is in line with many of Climate Defiance’s values (on their website), such as solidarity, community, peacefulness, etc.

To me, it would be odd for their members or leadership not to be vegan. I didn’t ask to undermine their efforts, but I’m genuinely curious why I should support a climate activist group who doesn’t promote veganism (one of the most powerful tools to fight against climate change).
