The accounts prior to the start of the video are conflicting so I won’t comment on that but it’s clearly not self defense to strike someone from behind with a vehicle when you have a clear route of egress. That’s attempted murder.

And protestors are protestors. That doesn’t change based on your feelings being hurt or whatever it is that’s causing you to say that. Most major protests have used roads across all of history. But I guess the million man march wasn’t a protest either?
