Didn’t know there was a Lemmy community for XIV, glad to help livening it up.
I finally got all crafters and gatherers to 100 and crafted myself a full set of gear and tools. Probably not gonna bother pentamelding since we’re already so far into the tier but it’s nice to have all that armoury space back.
Finished my house! Might swap out a couple items once I get access to all the DT Bicolor Gemstone merchants, but for now, I’m very happy with it. Come visit on Exodus!

@Drusenija Panic-crafted a caster and a healing set on Saturday to help my BF’s static with gear for flexing a role (SCH to SMN) and getting a substitute up and running (a friend who plays WHM), felt drained but accomplished afterwards.
Nearly got my alt through Dawntrail and managed to cap the weekly tomes after I hit 100 just a few hours before my bedtime, before weekly reset.
I had organised a house design commission back in March, and the design was finished and delivered yesterday! Here’s the video showcase the designer Sally Snow put together for it.

- Found out I actually enjoy playing BLM in Frontlines! (Most of the time I PVP as DRG, so this is a big change in playstyle.)

I still have never tried Frontlines! My PvP experience is limited to Rival Wings (which I love but only ever pops during mog tome events) and Crystaline Conflict, and for that only in unranked. What’s it like as a game mode?
Thank you! I have to do 3 EW EX fights myself — and even though I’ve unsynced most of the older extremes, I’d still like to go back and at least sync clear all of ARR and the Monster Hunter crossover since they’re likely to come up in roulette.
Frontlines is fun but a mess. It’s chaotic and how well you do comes down to whether or not there’s a shot caller to keep everyone on track. As an individual player, your best bet is to play defensively and stay with the group at all times. It pays really well though — there’s daily bonuses for both job and series XP, and you can level jobs by queueing in on them and then switching to whatever job you prefer for PVP at the start. There are Garo achievements linked to Frontline wins if you want those glams/mounts, too.
Finally got past Fusefield in M3S Prog (I love PF I love PF)
I finally leveled all combat jobs to 100. Today I’ll try and get m1s-m3s reclears. I’m not very motivated to start m4s prog since I’m going on a trip next week and need to sort a few things beforehand.

I thought it was good! It kept moving forward, wasn’t super predictable, and kept things relatively light-hearted… until they didn’t.
That’s a good summary 😂 Personally I’m excited with what they do with all the new threads they’ve started to drop, but I hate the wait between patches 😭
Also as a (reformed) FFXI player I’m very much looking forward to the 7.1 patch though and the first of the FFXI Alliance Raids.
