@Drusenija Panic-crafted a caster and a healing set on Saturday to help my BF’s static with gear for flexing a role (SCH to SMN) and getting a substitute up and running (a friend who plays WHM), felt drained but accomplished afterwards.

Nearly got my alt through Dawntrail and managed to cap the weekly tomes after I hit 100 just a few hours before my bedtime, before weekly reset.

@pontiffkitchen0 I’d recommend you to do the first few fights guided - that will help you understand some more mechanics when you eventually try a fight without a guide.

Hector provides decent guides, but usually super early before better strategies have been concieved - so watch out if a party in PF calls for something else; though if you read the descriptions, it’s fairly obvious. And if anything is unclear, we’re happy to help or figure it out together.

@Drusenija In Eden 9 (The Cloud of Darkness) there is a phase where the arena turns into 5x5 tiles, in Savage 3 tiles in each corner and the middle tile are death zones, leaving 12 tiles to move on - if 2 players occupy the same tile, it breaks; if a player stays on a tile for too long (~15s?), it breaks. There’s a half-room cleave which requires everyone to scootch over to the safe 8 tiles, which can easily make players step into another’s tile or be locked out of refreshing theirs.

@Drusenija Love the fights, the boss designs are excellent, mechanics innovative and fun (except for the random floating hearts in 2nd, same dislike as the running puppets in the spooky expert 1st boss), will need to listen to the music proper when I’m back at my home PC but it did seem good as well.

Really enjoying the transformative arenas in 1 and 4, but hoping we don’t end up with PvP tiles in M1S like it was in E9S - it put me off from that raid tier, which I still regret.

@Drusenija Market Board as an extended inventory is what I highly recommend to others as well, as long as one is responsible with their Gil :)

A lot of the materials are super easy to obtain, especially in smaller quantities - a 40 min venture for a decent stack if you have a matching retainer leveled.
