    I think most critically what this graphic fails to count is the war deaths. The U.S. killed several million Iraqi civilians alone. Then of course, we also must count the deaths from destroyed civilian infrastructure, deaths from the massive refugee crisis…

    There are other major sources of death besides war that I’m not even mentioning, but really this number is a gross underestimate.

    If it’s being written in English, it probably should use a comma separator rather then a full stop, like 8,000,000 rather than 8.000.000. I think (though I’m not 100% certain) that applies equally to all variations of English.

    Currently it’s like “8 people died of this, 7 people died of this” and “we are certain to 6 decimal places”.
