Much credit to this post.
This is seriously the best news all year. No shame at all in taking it of course, the US forces you to confess your sins medieval-style before they’ll stop the torture.
Oh my god please be real, are there any articles on this yet?
Queen - We are the champions
Excellent vibes
Seriously what is going on with that photo. It’s like they upscaled a really low-res version and it gave him scales.
iirc, the end of the book Black Against Empire, which is a great overview of the history and repression of the BPP, does have some minor criticisms in the last section, but I don’t remember them.
Key line where he clarifies this here:
Wealth in a socialist society belongs to the people. To get rich in a socialist society means prosperity for the entire people.
Anarchists and “china bad” types will continue to ignore that he’s referring to collective wealth.
Anyone got the full video link saved? Youtube keeps removing them.
The US decline will continue regardless of which candidate / branch of its one-party state is in office. I don’t believe either of them would manage that decline fundamentally diffrerently.
I’ve had Xiaomi and oneplus phones, both have been stellar. You can easily get year old models used for really cheap.
I randomly read their page on themselves, and they cite influence from somebody named Nick Land a lot. Looked him up and holy shit:
He advocates for racial separation under the belief that “elites” will enhance their IQs by associating only with each other.
Land also rejects the idea that Dark Enlightenment has fascist elements, writing that “Fascism is a mass anti-capitalist movement".
Capitalism has not yet been fully unleashed, he argues, and corporate power should become the organizing force in society. Land is vehemently against democracy, believing it restricts accountability and freedom. The world should do away with political power, according to Dark Enlightenment, and instead, society should break into tiny states, each effectively governed by a CEO.
Gabriel Rockhill needs to write an article about capitalist media platforming these patsocs.
The US is the model for settler-colonialism in the modern era, itself being explicitly based on the Roman empire, with a slave-holding aristocracy holding political power, and granting free land and status to those willing to participate in its imperial project.
There have been challenges throughout US history against this rule by aristocracy, but all of them lost at various points, and are now on life support. It genocided its indigenous inhabitants and stole their land. The Civil war was a challenge between two right-wing systems: capitalism and slavery, although slavery was reinstated during the reconstruction era. Its communist-left was purged and eliminated by the 1960s, its union movement predictably died soon after in the 1970s, the anti-war left died in the 1980s.
There has never been the equivalent of a “red-scare” but for the right-wing, because the US is a right wing country and does not permit a public platform of left-wing views. Its a one-party state where both parties are “fluid”, one acting as the “foil” / controlled opposition against the one which currently reflects the more overt interests of its aristocracy.
I highly suggest reading Settlers, an Indigenous people’s history of the US, and Zak Cope - Divided world divided class, for some of the underpinnings of the US’s “master-race democracy”.
