I’ve been told by these guys before that the media has had a habit of ignoring them in a past, for whatever reason. Demonstrations specifically towards people of power etc are good and all but they’re meaningless if the general public isn’t aware of them!
As I said in another comment, it’s hard to ignore a protest of tens of thousands of people that literally cannot fit on Parliament grounds.
Sheer numbers is the way to get a protest noticed.
