I mean, I personally can’t find much difference in the policy positions or rhetoric between today’s Israel and early Nazi Germany, and given the dozens of refused hostage exchanges and predictable outcomes of Israel funding Hamas’ rise to power, I’m not sure I’d exactly disagree with him on that one.

With any luck, conflict between Israel and Russia will damage both monstrous regimes.

Israel is fucked in very similar ways but they’re not antisemitic in the modern use of the word at least (i.e. hating jews). And nazi tends to include that too.

If he just said they’re a genocidal regime I’d be with him on that, they did somehow manage to make russias invasion of ukraine look less bad in comparision.

For the reasons I gestured at above, it’s clear Netanyahu is pretty indifferent about Jews being killed.

Is it an end he wants unto itself? No.

Is he perfectly happy to sacrifice thousands of Jewish lives to advance his own interests? Absolutely.

The point stands though - substitute “Juden” for Palestinian, and you’ll struggle to find much difference between Israel and Nazi Germany. You’ll remember that the Jews weren’t the only people the Nazis targeted - they weren’t even the first.

To add context: in the KZ Mauthausen (don’t know numbers for other KZ) only 20% of the people were Jewish. Most were Slavic, some other minority, political opponents or (basically also political opponents) people who refused to comply with the regime.
