There is zero reason to think 90% of people are going to die as a result of climate change.

The status of climate change claims is essentially:

    • Average temperature is going up: definitely true
    • CO2 levels are going up: definitely true
    • The CO2 increases are the cause of the temperature increase: probably, but conflicts with previous periods in geological history of higher CO2 and lower temps, or vice-versa
    • This is caused by humans: maybe
    • This will cause problems for humanity: definitely
    • This will cause existential threat to humanity: almost definitely not true
    • This will cause benefits to humanity: definitely true

The notion that climate change is going to kill us all is simply false. It’s not what science indicates.

Your comment looks only at temperature and skips past all the effects of said temperature. An unbelievably incomplete and willfully restricted view.

Bro said “maybe” on humans being the source of all this new CO2 as if you can’t just do the math on humanity’s annual CO2 output and watch the atmospheric concentration go up in direct response. They’re downright lying.

The people most affected by climate change will be the poorest first. As long as rich people aren’t affected, everything is fine. When enough poor people are affected which causes issue in the supply chain of big corpos, that’s when people will start thinking “should we do something about this?”

This is the most confidentially incorrect thing I’ve seen in a while. Talk to a real climate scientist. Like a real one. They’re easy to find. They’re all (unfortunately) all over Twitter. Ask 3. Ask 10. You are going to be really sad after… But you’ll be educated. Or not. Up to you.
