DOUBLE MURDER AT SUNSET!
This is what complete acceptance of inevitable death or 82 landmines looks like.
I honestly feel bad for them. They almost look like they didn’t want any part in this and were just completely accepting or even embracing death. Who knows if they even really wanted anything to do with this or were just forced by Putin et. al to fight in this sensless war. I understand ofc this is just a part of war, and I am fully in support of Ukraine defending their sovereignty, but damn. This… is hard to watch nonetheless.
They sign contracts to fight the evil ukrainians that they have every right to destroy. That is what they believe. The same way Nazis believed they were really better people and had the right and obligation to destroy others.
Straight nope, Ukraine was a close ally and literally gave all their nukes to Russia for peace. Trust me, they know they are killing their countrymen. This is worse than the Nazi.
War sucks. Especially for the lower classes.
Exactly my feeling. It’s heartwrenching to see how the first one accepts his faith. On a human-to-human basis I mean, and ignoring the context.

Suicide by apathy.
Die jaded, or die tired.
Even an average FPV pilot can wreck infantry out in the open, the better pilots will make multiple dives before committing to a good angle/direct impact. You can’t outrun a drone, REBs don’t cover all frequencies, and shooting them down is hard.
Yep, they didn’t have shit like this when I was in, but it’s the same as artillery or rocket barrages. If you’re caught in an open field, there’s no point in running. You’re either getting hit or you’re not. Running is just as likely to take you out of a safe spot and put you directly in the line of fire. Just lay down and wait it out.
Except that running gets you into cover faster.
We’re talking about explosives, not rain. And open fields don’t tend to have any cover.
What sort of field has absolutely no cover anywhere for 100s of meters and is attacked such that everywhere around you in like 500 meter radius is equally getting hit?
Plenty in Iraq.
