haha this was the only way I ever got anything submitted in college and was able to still get high grades

wait what do you mean I’m now incapable of self regulating my time at a professional job without steady deadline flow and am a permanent procrastinator that is wholly “unmotivated”?

Waiting for this to happen. I’ve been locked inside my room depressed and not even doing anything fun or entertaining just knowing that I have a deadline on something. I can’t even have fun when I waste time. On top of it, I haven’t done the regular stuff I need to do because of that other thing weighing on my mind. That deadline broke me.

Ha. I have short term memory issues with my ADHD and this never happens because I still can’t keep my attention on the prize.

Tax that had to be paid by tomorrow, and had months to do so… I just realized and panicked when reading this post.

So thank you, I guess? The fines are awful 😅

It’s crazy to me that some countries have everyone double check they’ve paid the right amount of tax. It’s wild to me. That would be your governments job, and then they either tell you you owe them money or they give you a rebate. That’s how it should work everywhere.

Yes, although it should be noted that one of the trickier parts of ADHD is most people have at least some traits of it, especially when they’re younger. It’s why our memes are so relatable.

Still get checked if you’re thinking it.

Or, you can do what I did and wait 45 years before getting diagnosed and then spend the next 5 years being just as productive as the previous 45 combined (yay adderall!)

that feeling when your meds kick in for the first time and you realize all these other fucking assholes have been living like this their whole lives and never told you.

I finally got medication for my anxiety. You mean to tell me my jaw hurting half way through the day due to clenching isn’t normal? My shoulder blades aren’t supposed to cover my ears. Almost 20 years of bullshit. I hope I get diagnosed for my probable ADHD soon.
