Best Buy is saying goodbye to movie-watching with physical discs. The consumer electronics retailer plans to phase out its DVD and Blu-ray sales by early 2024 — with physical movies set to be sold in-stores and online as they are today through the holidays.
I understand completely. The last time I went to a Best Buy was about 5 years ago for a game that was on sale because it had sold out already on Amazon. Annndd they didn’t have it either despite it being listed as in stock. Best Buy is useless.
That’s honestly the only reason I go into one now. I bought the last 2 Zelda games for the GF there.
I’m still in shock they are still around. If I even need to buy a printer or supplies for one after Amazon it’s going to be Staples before BestBuy for me.
