Not sure why the downvotes, seems a fair statement to me.
It’s definitely not pay to win because you can unlock all the gear you want, if you don’t know how to use it you won’t be winning much. Ironically, it’s those who grind for the unlocks that develop the skills needed to win consistently. Therefore in my mind it’s Play to Win and the transactional elements are just a side hustle to capitalise on those who like to spend money rather than develop skill.

Agreed. I see supply chains (both production and logistics) for all sectors either disappearing all together or becoming severely limited. This will drive population reduction and the development of local economies. Local food production will become the highest valued commodity but the primary input (water) will be increasingly scarce and valuable. Rainwater harvesting will be a priority for all along with solar energy production and storage.
