If software assumed it was being designed and ran with the lunar program approach (only what the desired need requires in a fair amount of time), we would get so much life out of everything…

Also, what a hard failure and shortsighted approach it is, when I would pay significantly more for apps and hardware itself if everthing from the OS to front facing UI was conservative in its resource drain, or at least had a true custom setting that actually did that. I mean I would at least pay more than they currently make by serving me ads based on all the bullshit.

This is why I have to overcome my phone call anxiety and inform anyone that I can’t even acknowledge a notification on my phone without risking forgetting, and they need to call me if they want any kind of timely response. And since I’m currently unmedicated I force myself to just not acknowledge/dismiss/click on any notifications until I know for sure that I’m prepared to take the time it takes me to respond to something.

If anything can be said of the differences between back then and now, I would guess that overall the Democratic party at least appears to be more humble in the past than it is now despite being humiliated by a clown is such as Trump. The party’s and this country’s eventual downfall I think could be boiled down to everyone that isn’t in the Oligarchy’s Breast Pocket, being unwilling to compromise or even speak their neighbors, who might disagree with them.
