The first CRISPR gene editing treatment for sickle cell disease was approved. An amazing start to what I hope is a future of cures for various genetic diseases.
Queer transfem with an endless gaming backlog.

Yeah, what the heck Valorant. I’m not installing that.
Always count on a corporation to make something worse.
I agree, they are just going to hit the wall again way too fast. If the limit is 256 or 2^8, they should increase it to 65536 or 2^16. Now that’s a limit that feels safer to leave at for many year to come.
Article says it only moved to living trees and that its a symbiotic relationship. Which to my understanding of trees, they already do this with other fungi, and this one is just tagging along as well.
The last of us this is not, not even close.
I see, that makes sense. I appreciate the lesson in Norway’s infrastructure.
“Most Norwegian cities now have more of a car-centric, American approach toward transportation than a multi-modal, European one,”
That’s a sad sentence to read, I always assumed Norway was like Sweden with amazing public transportation as well.
That my total playtime is still only 10 months. I could have sworn I had spent over a year by now.
And the picture they used is not just white background, but the icons and edit text are blue and text is black. Where is the grey? I call false advertisement.
Yeah, until it fully launches to everyone, it won’t be a viable alternative to anything.
I once read a documentary of what happens when someone uses 100%. It’s called My Hero Academia.
Since the article didn’t list many examples, I looked them up.
brominated vegetable oil- used in sodas, usually citrus flavored ones
potassium bromate- look out for this in breads
propylparaben- used in packaged baked goods, mostly pastries and tortillas
red dye No. 3- aka Erythrosine, its a pink dye, so watch out for that ingredient in any pink foods
and lastly to cover all bases:
titanium dioxide- its a white dye, so watch out for that ingredient in any white foods
I meant Diablo 4 seems to be exactly what they advertised, at least for now. But I will not be surprised when they ruin it in a later update chasing that dollar, considering their other games.
The other examples you list were perfectly justified reasons to be upset. As they removed perfectly functional old games with OW and WC3 and everything about the D3 real money auction house at launch was messed up.
Diablo 3 still works, I don’t see a reason for this one to get bombed like Overwatch 2 did. If you bought it, its your own fault. I’m not actually keeping up with D4, did they screw up something since its launch?
The whole infinite growth mentality caused by companies being public on the stock market is the real poison I think. So lets just axe the whole thing. No more stock market, every company is private again.
Which means no more stock speculators, or stock buybacks, or market manipulation schemes. Just companies selling their products to consumers based on their own metrics.
No, the secret ingredient was water. Ordinary water. Laced with nothing more than a few spoonfuls of LSD.
Not very. I usually make a different username per website, but they are usually a portmanteau of various characters I like. So several names I use are fairly similar.
That’s messed up that a teacher can abuse a child to the point where they kill their interest in a subject.
Not the worst worst, but a story I feel is fitting.
I still remember in high school a new guy transferred in one year and was just the worst person to interact with, I’ve ever met. He would verbally insult everyone he talked to, literally everyone. I had the displeasure of sitting next to him in one of my classes and it was just nonstop. Thankfully, I didn’t take it personally cause I saw he did it to everyone. It became more tiring after a while, to hear him speak, rather than feeling insulted.
I remember a large number of us spoke out against him to the teachers, but I forget if anything came out of it.
I would assume there is an order of operations to the madness. And quicksaves are stored globally, so whoever quicksaves first is able to undo the later quicksaves. In this scenario, if your boss quickloads before you do, then they would retain their memories and go back to before the meeting knowing you were going to insult them in it before you even did the first quicksave.
